Our Reading Tutoring Program empowers Black youth by building literacy skills in a culturally affirming, supportive environment. Each student begins with a comprehensive reading assessment to identify their strengths and areas for growth. We then create engaging, personalized lessons using culturally relevant texts, stories, and strategies that celebrate identity and spark a love for reading. Whether your child is just starting out or building on existing skills, we support their journey with care, intention, and community.

Our Reading Group & Sight Words Program is designed to help Black students master sight words and build reading confidence through fun, interactive small-group sessions. Rooted in cultural relevance and joy, this program goes beyond literacy — it affirms identity, reflects lived experiences, and helps students feel seen in what they learn. By combining play, structure, and celebration, we make reading an empowering experience for every child.

Math Tutoring Program
Our Math Program centers representation, joy, and empowerment for Black children. We begin with an initial math assessment and build a personalized path that supports each child’s strengths and growth areas. Lessons feature culturally affirming resources and engaging activities that help students develop math skills while seeing themselves reflected in the learning. Whether your child needs help with core concepts, confidence, or homework, we create a supportive environment where they can thrive mathematically and culturally.
Homework Support Sessions
Our Homework Support Sessions give students the dedicated time and guidance they need to tackle school assignments with confidence. Whether it’s essays, projects, worksheets, or review tasks, students can bring in their work and receive support from a caring tutor who understands their learning style and needs. These sessions are designed to reduce stress, build skills, and help students stay on top of their academic responsibilities — all in a supportive, culturally affirming space.
